Charleston, SC (OPENPRESS) - - Tampa’s own Galina Fouks Abele kicks off her upcoming national book and art showcase tour this Friday at Barnes & Noble, Carrollwood, 11802 N. Dale Mabry Highway, at a very special book signing for her children’s picture book Maurice’s Daughter. “We were so thrilled when B&N Community Relations Director Nan Barbara responded so positively to this special children’s book about healing and joy after bereavement!” says Lily Herndon Weaks, President of The Fig & The Vine Publishing.

Galina Fouks Abele comes full circle as an artist and a beloved daughter, showcasing her artwork and signing copies of her debut picture book at a very special event held at the Firefly Gallery in Cable, WI, on July 3rd, at 3pm. A longtime teacher and artist, Galina unexpectedly took her inherited artistic talent to a new level with her debut picture book Maurice’s Daughter.

Terry Ward Tucker, F&V author of the award winning Young Adult Historical Fiction book Moonlight and Mill Whistles, was featured in a half hour segment on June 17th highlighting all her titles and her work in general. WLCN's Colette Harrington hosted the show, part of the Daughters of Charleston program. We are very proud of Terry and can't be happier to have this gifted author as a part of our family!
